Ms. Idan Chiang, founder and Chairman of L\u2019atelier Fantasia, has an eye for the relation between men and the the surrounding space. She always analyses each space that she deals with from this point of view. Having a university degree in sociology makes her, compared with some other designers, more sensitive about human dynamics. Her design always emits an ambiance full of elegance, warmth and charm. For her, interior design is not to just install some beautiful objects in the right corners. A designer should always look at the relationship between a space and its users in which an art piece can serve an atmosphere creator. She also visited artists such as French national treasure artist Jean-Michel Othoniel and English hot-ticket sculptor Annie Morris in their studio. By talking in-person with these creators, she truly understands their works. Through her arrangement, the encounter of an object and its potential owner is a meant-to-be experience. Keep the meaning of true creation in mind, she doesn’t confine herself in any style but free herself to create surprises for her clients.\n\nShe advocates divergent aesthetic philosophy. Her works, playing with a mixture of neoclassical and modern elements, not only won her a reputation among the high-end clients but also gained the acknowledgements from APIDA Asia Pacific Interior Design Award and Asia Pacific Property Awards. Idan, a media magnet, drawing attention from fashion, art collector and social magazines, ranks as the top 12 magazine cover figures in China. She is awarded as one of the young and talented entrepreneurs under age forty by both Taiwan Tatler and Prestige magazines. \n\nMoreover, having a deep social commitment to propagate the value of art, she not only designs spaces for high-end clients with different needs but also curates, through her associate company L’Art en Ciel, many art exhibitions every year. \n\nshe has planned several big ticket-selling art shows in various venues such as Huashan 1914 Creative Park, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts and many galleries in Shanghai, and brought to the citizens of these cities different experience of art.
